2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Crystal Springs
A beautifully silky, polished and well composed
wine that’s quietly powerful, well
balanced and fresh. Nicely dry, boasting
rich and ripe but not sweet dark fruit,
cocoa, graphite and iron flavors, with black
currants and very dark chocolate lingering
in a long finish. Laced with fine-grained
tannins for a sleek but structured feel.
Drinkable now and best from 2030.
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Yountville
Full-bodied and super concentrated, this
intense wine is impressive to taste and will
improve with further aging. It shows dense
black cherry, dark chocolate, espresso and
spearmint flavors on tightly wound tannins
that are just beginning to soften slightly.
Excellent wine from a little-known winery.
Drinkable now and best from 2030.

Wine Spectator

2019 Stolen Owl Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Yountville
Offers lively red currant and plum compote notes laced with hints of licorice, bramble and lightly singed vanilla through the juicy finish. Drink now through 2031.
2020 Malbec Knights Valley
This Malbec is inky black, with just a touch of ruby red at the edge. Dark intensity carries onto the nose, where aromas of blackberry, cassis and tobacco dominate. While the palate is spicy and intense, exuding berry compote and meaty flavors, it’s also nicely balanced. This wine is approachable now but will age gracefully for some time.

2019 Malbec Knights Valley (Wine Club Members Only)
So powerful and so gentle at the same time, this opulent wine from a standout new producer was a small, two-barrel lot. It frames indulgent black figs, blueberries, dark chocolate and tobacco flavors in posh but firm, ultra-fine tannins.
